Halloween 2015
Halloween, or Hallowe’en is a contraction of All Hallows’ Evening. It´s a celebration observed in a lot of countries on 31 October. This eve is the Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day, dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful who departed.
It is believed that many Halloween traditions were originated from the ancient Celtic and Gaelic harvest festivals. Those traditions were Christianized by the Church.

Emakumeen osasunaren alde egiteko Nazioarteko Eguna
Costa Rican 1987an Emakumeen eta Osasunaren Nazioarteko V. Topagunea burutu zen. Topagune hori maiatzaren 28an ospatzen den Emakumeen Osasunaren aldeko Nazioarteko Ekintza-Egunaren abiapuntuntzat hartzen da.
Ordutik hona emakumeen osasunerako eskubidea aldarrikatzeko ospatzen da eguna, eskubide hori giza eskubide baita, eta dudarik gabe, emakumeek euren bizitzako ziklo guztian izan behar duten eskubidea da, murrizpenik eta bazterkeriarik gabe.
Iazko sarreran aipatu genuen gaixotasun kardiobaskularrean gizonei eta emakumei agertzen zaizkien sintomak ez direla berdinak. Gizonezkoenak ezagunak dira, baina emakumezkoenak ez dira horren ezagunak. Lan handia egin behar dugu benetako berdintasuna lortzeko.

El 17 de mayo se celebra el aniversario de la firma del primer Convenio Telegráfico Internacional y de la creación de la Unión Internacional de Telecomunicaciones. En este año 2015 se celebra el 150 Aniversario de la Unión Internacional de Telecomunicaciones.
Ese mismo día se celebra el Día de Internet y es cuando el Senado entrega sus premios. Este año ha organizado una tertulia para hablar de cómo Internet influye en la creación artística.
Todo el mundo está invitado a participar en el Día de Internet. Hay diversas formas de participar y contribuir. En muchas ciudades se realizan eventos que conmemoran dicho día, organizados por empresas, administraciones y organizaciones de cualquier tipo y tamaño, que deben cumplir las siguientes condiciones:
• Que acerque la Sociedad de la Información a los no conectados o discapacitados.
• Que su realización principal suceda el 17 de mayo.
• Que se dé a conocer en www.diadeinternet.org

Interneten Nazioarteko Eguna 2014
1 de mayo: 125 años de lucha por los derechos del trabajador
Hoy en Cuba, Rusia, España y en otros 139 países del mundo se celebra el Día del Trabajador. Es una jornada festiva desde 1890, tras haberlo así dictado en la Segunda Internacional apenas establecida en París en 1889. Se celebran manifestaciones para reclamar mejoras laborales y sociales, y la jornada suele ser tranquila. Sin embargo en algunos lugares suele haber enfrentamientos, por ejemplo, este año en Turquía y en Italia la jornada se ha saldado con enfrentamientos violentos entre manifestantes y la Policía.
Se celebra esta jornada en homenaje a los Mártires de Chicago, unos sindicalistas que fueron ejecutados en Estados Unidos por reclamar mejoras laborales, entre ellas, la jornada de ocho horas. En Estados Unidos no se celebra esta conmemoración, aunque el 1 de septiembre se celebra el Labor Day.

Lurraren Nazioarteko Eguna. Aurten ospakisunaren 45. urteurrena
Mundu osoan, apirilaren 22an, Lurraren Eguna ospatzen da Lurraren natura-ingurunearen aldeko kontzientzia sustatzeko asmoz. Gaylord Nelson Estatu Batuetako senatariak proposatu zuen egun hori. Bere asmoa kutsaduraren, superpopulazioaren, biodibertsitatearen eta Lurra babesteko beste ingurumen-kezka batzuei buruzko kontzientzia piztea zen.

April begins with a day of fun and jokes the April Fools’ Day (sometimes called April Fool’s Day or All Fools’ Day). It was celebrated yeterday, as every year, on the first day of April. This is the day when people play jokes on each other.
No one really knows when this custom began but it has been kept for hundreds of years. There are many theories about the beginning of this custom. It is said that the first reference between 1 April and foolishness can be found in British author Geoffrey Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales (1392).
